Hi I’m Alondra — you can call me Alo

In 2024, I made the biggest decision of leaving my corporate job. As a mom to two beautiful girls, Sophia and Emilia, my daughters have always been my inspiration. Working long hours and long weeks meant missing moments with them that I knew I could never get back. I wanted to create a life that allowed me to follow my passions while being more present for the two little people who mean the world to me. That desire for change led me down a path I never imagined would become so meaningful.

While my career initially took a different turn, my love for beauty was always there. I still remember being 16 years old, obsessively collecting makeup brushes and eyeliners. No joke lol.

Taking the leap of faith to get certified as a hair and makeup artist meant turning that lifelong passion into my life’s work—and launching Glamour by Alo. For me, this isn't just about applying makeup or styling hair; it’s about the human connection. I get to sit with incredible women, hear their stories, and be part of some of the most unforgettable moments of their lives. My absolute favorite moments are the real ones—the laughter in the chair, the happy tears, the pre-aisle nerves, and that exact instant a client looks in the mirror and radiates true confidence.

To bring even more magic to larger events and bridal parties, I also proudly collaborate with Gabby Zermeno of Glam by GZ, allowing us to serve large groups while constantly growing alongside another passionate artist.
